If you’ve ever dreamt of having a swimming pool that looks inside your house you’re in luck. This $22 million estate in Orange County comes with a 15 feet deep infinity pool with windows giving access to the home’s man cave. As Robb Report details, the jewel in the crown of this three-story home weighs twice as much as a standard pool and had to be reinforced with steel and concrete, earning the abode the nickname “Fortress.”
Architects CJ Light and Associates and the design team at Hawk & Co. are responsible for this stellar home in the affluent neighborhood of Dana Point. Along with a massive pool window, this 13,500-square-foot home comes with nine bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, an office, theater, and a five-car garage.
No expense has been spared creating his elegant mansion, with marble, stone, and wood floors, brass-inlay finishes, custom chandeliers, walnut wall panels, and a 12 seat table in the dining room. The modern kitchen features marble countertops and Miele appliances, while upstairs bedrooms have wallpaper by Aesthetics and metal inlays. The master bedroom has a standalone tub sat near retractable windows offering an incredible view of the ocean. The perfect place to knock back a red after a hard day’s work.
Then there’s the man cave. Designed to resemble a London nightclub, it comes with a full bar and, an 11 Ravens custom pool table, and massive windows so you can watch your mates swimming in the pool. It really has to be seen to be believed.
If that’s not enough, for those who don’t like walking, there’s an elevator that gives access to all three levels, several spacious terraces, a hidden grotto, and gorgeous gardens.
